Compensation range for onsite WA applicants is $78,000 to $85,000. All applicants are welcome to apply.

What can I expect in this role?

The Project Coordinator for the AST Customer Care Team is responsible for handling incoming customer inquiries, managing customer orders, coordinating with technical teams to provide service & support and coordinating with other departments to fulfill project deliverables.

Responsibilities

 
  • Receive customer inquiries via phone or email directly and process them effectively into either a support or commercial proposal, or work with a Customer Support Engineer to provide service and support to customers.
  • Assist the Customer Care Manager in creating sales proposals.
  • Create and maintain customer orders and release work orders using the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with department managers to obtain the required resources for projects and orders.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings internally and with customers.
  • Plan and schedule project milestones and adjust for any changes. Identify any risks and devise contingency plans to keep projects on track. Communicate all project changes and status internally and with customers.
  • Actively track milestones, progress invoices/payments, and deliverables.
  • Understand scope of work and manage design tasks with minimal scope creep.

Qualifications
 
  • 3+ years working experience in project coordination.
  • Diplomas or professional certifications in a related curriculum, preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing customer relations.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-pace high-impact environment.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills are required.
  • Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work through shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
  • Exceptionally high level of commitment to the success of projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
